Introduction
What WorkOrderGuard is, what it does, and what it deliberately is not.
WorkOrderGuard is an optimization layer for work order operations. It analyzes the work order data you already have to find unnecessary spend, duplicated effort, and inefficient workflows — and it does that on top of your existing systems.
WorkOrderGuard is not a replacement for your CMMS or work order platform. Your upstream system remains the system of record; WorkOrderGuard ingests data from it, normalizes that data into a unified model, and analyzes it for waste and improvement opportunities.
How it works, in outline
- Get data in. Import work order data from CSV exports, or connect an integration for supported platforms such as ServiceChannel.
- Normalize. Incoming data is mapped onto a unified work order model, including status, priority, work type, and trade terminology.
- Analyze. Analysis runs apply your account's policy packs to the normalized work orders and produce findings.
- Act. Review findings and estimated impact. WorkOrderGuard presents each detected issue as a case with the work orders it affects.
Who this site is for
These guides are written for the people who use WorkOrderGuard day to day: operations and maintenance managers, finance stakeholders reviewing work order spend, and anyone responsible for improving maintenance workflows.
Developers integrating with the WorkOrderGuard API will find the starting point under Authentication.
