Connect ServiceChannel
Linking a ServiceChannel workspace to WorkOrderGuard.
WorkOrderGuard supports a direct integration with ServiceChannel. Connecting it lets WorkOrderGuard ingest your work order data without manual exports.
What a connection does
A connection is scoped to your account. Once established, WorkOrderGuard reads work order data from the connected ServiceChannel environment and normalizes it into your account's unified model, where it is analyzed like any other data.
What you need
- access to your ServiceChannel environment, and authority to connect a third-party integration to it;
- a WorkOrderGuard account to connect it to.
During setup you authorize the connection using your ServiceChannel credentials. Credentials are stored encrypted and are only used to ingest data for your account.
After connecting
Review the connection's mappings so imported statuses, priorities, work types, and trades land where you expect. Mapping decisions you review are reused for future imports, so the first review matters most. See Mappings and normalization.
