WorkOrderGuard
Getting started

Roles, organizations, and accounts

How WorkOrderGuard organizes who can see and do what.

WorkOrderGuard is multi-tenant, and the account is at the center of that model. Understanding it helps you work effectively with the product.

Accounts

An account is the tenant and the working scope for operations: its locations, assets, work orders, invoices, providers, and analysis results all live inside it. An account is either a personal account or an organization account — most companies use an organization account, and if your operations span multiple regions or business units you may have several of them.

When you use the WorkOrderGuard app, you work within a selected account. Most pages and queries are scoped to that account automatically.

Members and roles

People belong to an account through memberships: each member holds a role — owner, admin, or member — that determines what they can see and do in that account. Owners and admins can manage access; if you need different access to an account, contact one of its owners or admins.
