Cases
How WorkOrderGuard groups the work orders behind one detected issue.
A case is how WorkOrderGuard presents a detected issue together with the work orders it affects. When analysis detects the same problem across many work orders — one provider repeatedly over-servicing, say, or the same asset generating duplicated jobs — the affected work orders are grouped into a single case instead of being listed one by one.
How cases are built
Cases are produced by analysis. Each rule groups the work orders it flags using a case key, so the grouping reflects the detected issue rather than a manual selection. When you review findings, you are reviewing cases with their affected work orders attached.
Working with cases
Because a case carries its affected work orders, you can judge an issue by its full scope — the work orders involved and their total estimated impact — and then act on the underlying cause once, rather than triaging each work order separately. See Findings for how findings present estimated impact.
