Running analysis
What an analysis run is and what it produces.
An analysis run is WorkOrderGuard applying your account's policy packs to its normalized work orders and producing findings.
Starting a run
You start a run for an account. The run processes the work orders that are currently imported and normalized for that account.
What happens during a run
Each rule in your account's active policy packs is evaluated against your work orders. Rules are deterministic and explainable: when a rule fires, the resulting finding tells you what was detected and which work orders were involved. See Rules and policies.
After the run
Findings from the run become available for review, with estimated impact to help you prioritize. As new data is imported or connected, run analysis again to keep findings current. See Findings.
